We are currently doing a study on the book of 1 Samuel. This book along with Kings and Chronicles record many sins and failures on the part of God's people.  But they also remind us that God is on the throne, and when He isn't allowed to rule, He overrules.  He is the Lord of Hosts, and His purpose will be accomplished.
